10) NatureArt Lab
Canberra’s botanic art studio, NatureArt Lab, is offering short courses and workshops for the budding or experienced artist! Students can learn to use watercolour, coloured pencils, ink, pen and more while immersing themselves in science and nature studies. This Sunday, Canberrans can look at nature and find their inspiration in a natural world journaling workshop. Students will learn to observe nature in a new light and use a variety of drawing skills to create their own art journal. There’ll also be other courses in February and March.

8) Tennis Canberra Open Day and Bushfire Fundraiser

7) Bushfire Relief Benefit Concert
The Concert is a fundraising event with all proceeds going to the Red Cross Bushfire Appeal, to raise money for Australians affected by the devastating bushfires. The show will feature performances from dance studios across Canberra, as well as musical performances from local musicians.

6) 4WD Spectacular

This all Australian Country Music Festival celebrates its 35th anniversary with a fantastic weekend of country music. Among the performers – Pete Denahy and the Travelling Country Band performing Slim Dusty songs, Roo Arcus, Peter Coad and the Coad Sisters, Owen Blundell, Red Poole and Terry Gordon, Keith Jamieson with Alisha Smith and Caitlyn Jamieson, Ernie Constance, Di Lindsay and Peter Simpson, Brian Letton, Laura Downing, Graham Rodger and Anita Ree, Justin Standley, Col Hardy and Greg Bain.
