10 – Queanbeyan Swap Meet
This family friendly event is must for car enthusiasts and collectors. Last year there was about 500 sites and goods sold ranged from all eras of car parts to collectables, books, magazines and antiques. Site holders travel from all over Eastern side of Australia to sell their goods. The Big 3 Car show (incorporating the American Car Nationals) will be held on Sunday.

The Canberra Short Film Festival is recognised as one of Australia’s oldest and best film competitions. 8 – BMX National Series Round 6
A thrilling series with seven rounds, more racing and more riders. 7 – Community Sports Gala
Ginninderra Athletics has partnered with Belconnen Community Service, UC Sport, the Capitals, Brumbies, Canberra Raiders, and the Canberra Cavalry to deliver a Community Sports Gala. Visitors can participate in the many sporting challenges being run around the field. Meet sporting stars, challenge yourself to an obstacle course or take on the Sprint Zone, firies will be there with their truck, there’s a Mascot Race, cheer on your local school in the Primary Schools Team Challenge or grab a bite to eat and enjoy a massage!

6 – Snow Dogs Day Out at Corin Forest
Corin Forest will welcome our four-legged friends back to the snow for the final weekend this year! Pooches and their owners can frolic in the snow and enjoy the Spring sunshine. Last weekend’s event was loved by more than 400 dogs – so if you’re keen to get involved, you’ll need to book quick!
