8 – Mt Stromlo Observatory Site Tour
Learn about one of Canberra’s oldest sites that’s rich in history! The Mount Stromlo Observatory has been carrying out astronomical observations for over 100 years and has grown into one of the great observatories. It’s weathered two devastating bushfires and earned a Nobel Prize!

7 – Goulburn Convoy for Kids
Head along to show your support and help raise money for local kids with cancer and severe disabilities. Watch as the Convoy of trucks leaves the Gateway Service Station at 10am via Lagoon St, Auburn St then Mundy St to the Recreation Area for a fun filled carnival! There’ll be plenty of delicious food, over 60 market stalls and displays, live music, a jumping castle, pedal karts, rock climbing, an auction of donated prizes and a truck pull competition!

6 – Canberra Vikings vs Queensland Country
Get down to Viking Park to support the Canberra Vikings in the National Rugby Championship Grand Final! Watch the team take on Queensland Country and enjoy the jam-packed evening full of entertainment, music and great rugby! There’ll also be a jumping castle for the kiddies.

5 – Federal Amateur Open
A chance to watch some of the best amateur golfers play for prizes valued at $8,000. 102 men, 36 women and 26 juniors are taking part, including 20 locals. Josh Armstrong the number 7th ranked Australian amateur will be once again be competing along with Grace Kim, 80th ranked amateur in the world and 2nd ranked Australian Girl who is joining the comp for the first time. Overseas players include NZ’s Kerry Mountcastle and Mark Hutson.
